In simpler terms...
When you move your hand forward, up towards the front of your
forearm, or when you move your hand backwards, towards the rear of
your forearm, the movement of the muscles of the forearm cause the
tendons of the elbow to stretch at the bone in which they connect the
muscle to. With overuse or after a sudden over-extension of the
wrist, the muscles of the forearm can be torn from the bone. This
tearing at the tendon-bone connection can quickly worsen causing
severe elbow pain.
The L*Bo Aid can relieve this pain by placing continual pressure on the tendon-bone connection and not allowing any further tearing to occur. Over time and after continued tearing has been stopped, the L*Bo Aid will facilitate the healing process between the muscles of the forearm and the bone.
Lateral and Medial Epicondylitis
On your elbow you can feel two bone protrusions, one on each side of the elbow. The protrusion on the inside, closest to your body is called the Medial Epicondyle and the bone protrusion on the outside of your arm is called the Lateral Epicondyle.
